  • Identity

In the time of Paul the apostle, people were identified by what they wore, as many are today: it showed whether they were rich or poor, a servant, slave, or master, what their nationality is, etc. In many of his teachings, Paul taught that we are all one in Christ Jesus members one of another there is neither male nor female bond nor free, Barbarian or Scythian, but Christ is all and in all (see Colossians 3:11 ). This was an important teaching in order for there to be no schism [or division] between the members of the body, as there were people of diverse backgrounds coming to Christ. He made it clearly understood that in the body of Christ we are all one people separated to God. Therefore, it does not matter what our birthplace was, our family's cultural background, our position in the community, or anything that we as humans would see as significant. What matters is our heart condition before God and our testimony before God and man, reflecting what is good and upright before the Lord. This is what defines our identity in Christ. In today's world, following instruction is not popular, because it is not well understood. However, when we begin seeking God and trusting His word, He makes us to be able to understand His laws. However, as long as we shut Him out and will not permit Him to make His ways known to us, we will never have a clear understanding, and will walk on in darkness, subject to our own base understanding of knowledge of wisdom. I pray that as you continue to read, dear one, the Day Star will shine in your heart and give you understanding, and will teach you to know and keep His ways. Amen. In a letter from Paul to Timothy (a young church leader), is this teaching about women, which also has to do with identity. 1st Timothy 2:8-10 - I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. In like manner also , that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; but (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works. By the words in like manner also , it shows these two scriptures are connected. It magnifies the manner in which we ought to praise and worship the Lord: through prayer, without wrath [meaning: strong vengeful anger or indignation ], without doubting God (in other words, pray in faith - see James 1:6-7 ), and with modesty. The women of that time showed who they were by their fine clothes and jewelry because that was their identity, but now being made one with the body of Christ it was important for them to understand that their new identity is in Christ Jesus and in him alone - the rich women and the common who were of lower standings in the community, both are sisters in Christ. There is no difference between them in Christ. Let your behavior show who you are. Dress in righteousness. For some women, putting on makeup or wearing jewelry is a snare, and they choose to stay away from it so that vanity doesn't come between them and God. On the other hand, there are women who dress plainly and they have allowed that to define their righteousness, just as the Pharisees who dressed appropriately and said all the right things, but their hearts were ugly. I have seen and heard of this in women who are in churches today, and it saddens my heart deeply. This is still a reflection of vanity, not of the outward appearance but it is just as damaging not only to themselves but to others as well. Putting trust in our righteous appearance causes us to be deceived. Whereas being truly righteous within, is where truth lies. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts (Psalm 51:6) 1 Timothy 2:11-15 - Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety. The scriptures explain the discipline of the woman in the home, how she must be towards her husband as this is the basis or foundation of how she must be in the church as well. A woman who is disciplined and under subjection to her husband under God in the home, is going to be disciplined and under subjection to God in the church. In this way, God is able to use her. We know that in the last days God said He would pour out his Spirit upon His handmaidens and they would prophesy, and He has, but we must understand what, according to God's word, is the order of things. It is God who empowers us to be Who We Are to be in Him but never outside of His order. Childbearing is not just physical it is spiritual as well. Having children gives women the opportunity to raise children a new generation for Christ, to teach them the ways of God and to follow in them. This is being fruitful and multiplying to replenish the earth with good fruit. This applies to being spiritual mothers as well. I am compelled to state that the instruction is not to shut women up in their houses to suppress them. The instruction is for women to know their place in the home, and that it is of great importance - children are a heritage of the Lord and the fruit of the womb is His reward. It is the incognisance in man that degrades what God created to be a treasure. The instruction is for women also to realize their identity and to be content with the identity they have in Christ Jesus our Savior. We are His treasure, all of us: women and men alike, whether we work for someone else or are the owner of the place, no matter the place of our birth - all those who are in Christ are His peculiar treasure. Do not let any man woman or child convince you otherwise - that you are trash, or a worthless sinner, these are opposite the doctrine of God which tells us: 2 Corinthians 5:17 - If any man [any human being] be in Christ , he IS A NEW CREATURE. That is a statement given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit of God to Paul to give to God's people - all those who have received Christ as their Lord and Savior. KNOW WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST STAND FIRMLY ON THIS FOUNDATION Keep your identity, stay in Christ by continuing in faith, charity, Holiness, and sobriety. Sobriety : the state of being sober; Moderation in general conduct or character; avoidance of excess or extremes. The opposite of sobriety is: frivolousness, self-indulgence , intoxication , allowance , discomposure 1 Peter 3:1-4 - Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; while they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; but let it be the hidden man of the heart , in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price . There's so much to learn! May God be praised and His name glorified who's Holy Spirit teaches us all things one day at a time! God bless you all.

  • Overcome Adultery and Fornication

Behold, I come quickly, saith the Lord. Blessed are those who keep my Word, and those I find doing when I come. The Lord wants us to not only be hearers of the Word, but doers also. Those who DO it – put it into action in their lives – are the ones who will be blessed. Those of us who are followers of Christ, who want to be His disciples, must reject the ways of the world and accept the way of Christ. We must not walk as we once did, but walk in the new way of Life that Christ has provided. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him - Colossians 3:5-10 There are Christians today, who fall into the error of thinking (or believing) it is okay to do certain things as they have done before, but the scripture says, if any man be in Christ Jesus he is a new creature, behold, old things are passed away, all things are become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17) This means that we are to walk in the newness of Life. Romans 6:4-6 Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. In this day and age, fornication and adultery are so prevalent that it has become normal to hear people have been unfaithful to their husbands or wives. Those who hear about it shake their heads and say how sad it is, and don't really know how to respond. It's like someone has taken a beautiful glass and thrown it to the floor where it is broken into pieces. All that is left from adultery is loss and pain and sadness. Fornication is like it. There is a barrier placed by God between man and woman, a boundary line that is not to be crossed until a contract is signed – one that is comprised (made up) of vows between them to honor, care for, and stay with one another UNTIL DEATH DO US PART . This is how it was ordained by God. If that line is crossed beforehand, God calls it fornication – which is a sin. Fornication is: consensual [involving or based on mutual consent] sexual intercourse between two persons not married to each other The origin of this word is as follows: Late Latin fornicatio, from fornicare to have intercourse with prostitutes, from Latin fornic-, fornix arch, vault, brothel This alone should give one cause to stop and think about their actions before just accepting it as a normal part of life. Do you want to think of yourself in this way, as a harlot in a brothel? Is that what your life is worth? Is your body nothing more than merchandise to be bought and sold by people in exchange for a moment's pleasure? Let us think about fornication for what it truly is. Is this not the same as what human traffickers are doing right now? While the difference may be that they are using people against their will and have them in literal physical captivity, why would you want to treat yourself in the same manner while being physically free? Adultery is: voluntary sexual activity (as sexual intercourse) between a married man and someone other than his wife or between a married woman and someone other than her husband The origin of the word adultery developed from Middle English / Latin / Anglo-French / Latin words adulterium,  from adulterāre  meaning "to defile by adultery, commit adultery with, pollute" Essentially, adultery is the act of being polluted. Pollute , sometimes interchangeable with contaminate , distinctively may imply that the process which begins with contamination is complete and that what was pure or clean has been made foul, poisoned, or filthy. Contaminate   implies intrusion of or contact with dirt or foulness from an outside source Men and women, brothers and sisters, let us not be polluted or contaminated, but walk purely, wholly (completely) in holiness to the Lord. Only fools make a mock / scoff at sin as though it were nothing. Let us walk in Wisdom. Sin may seem pleasurable for a season, but afterwards it yields heartache and pain - it is bondage, captivity. There are many places in the Bible where God warns us of the traps of Satan so we don't fall into them. (see Proverbs 5:1-10, 15, 17, 21 ) Proverbs 7:1-5, 21-27 My son, keep My words, and lay up My commandments with thee. Keep My commandments, and live; and My law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart. Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman: That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words. The flattering stranger does this: With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him. He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks; Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life. Hearken unto Me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of My mouth. Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths . For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death. We must be continually keeping our eyes on the Lord, not on man, so we can guard ourselves from falling into sin. In God is our Defense; if we are in Him, we will not be moved from the way of righteousness. Jesus said ( Matthew 5:27-29 ) if a man looks upon a woman and lusts after her in his heart, has committed adultery in his heart. The same goes for a woman. We must [it is imperative] keep our eyes upon Jesus, and these things – temptations – will have no power over us. For greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. O people of God, flee from sin , because those who don't, the scripture says ( Revelation 9:20-21 ) they will be part of those upon whom wrath of God is poured out. We must take care for ourselves and warn others so they can know they can know the truth, and the truth will make them free . John 8:31-32 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in My word, then are ye My disciples indeed ; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Revelation 22:7 and 14 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of Life, and may enter through the gates into the City. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. AMEN. 1 John 5:17-21 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. originally written on April 29, 2015

  • In the Beginning (a message for our youth today)

In the beginning of time God created all things new, all things were bright and beautiful, they were good in GOD'S eyes. GOD created man and woman (in all cleanliness and purity) in His likeness and image, yet giving to them the ability to choose – whether it be for the good or bad. He gave them strict instructions not to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of good and evil, for in the day they ate of it, they would die. Then the Tempter to came to them with the intent and purpose of deceiving them into eating of that tree. They believed him and obeyed his voice, for which reason they and all mankind after them must now have an end to their life. “For the wages of sin is death” - Jesus Christ came to offer us life anew, to give us Eternal Life, and to be our Salvation - “the gift of GOD is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our LORD” (Romans 6:23). When we accept this great Salvation for our souls, we must not walk in the ways of darkness, but choose the paths of uprightness, and thus choose Life. When we first come to know the LORD, we have a natural hunger and thirst for Rightness, to be right before GOD – to do whatever is right in His eyes, so as not to become dirtied again as we once were. Isaiah 51:1, 4-5 “Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. Hearken unto Me, My people; and give ear unto Me, O My nation: for a law shall proceed from Me, and I will make My judgment to rest for a light of the people. My righteousness is near; My salvation is gone forth, and Mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon Me, and on Mine arm shall they trust.” The world is designed to appear as if it is getting somewhere: people coming and going, doing this and that – busy hands, busy minds always thinking, always discovering something new to do, or new possibilities, new theories, etc. - all the while, forgetting more and more about the TRUTH, and forsaking the ONE TRUE GOD. They drift in the current wherever it might take them – without their realization of the true Life that is found in GOD. The child of GOD can be carried away in these dangerous currents as well, if they continue to dabble in the ways of the thoughts of this world. This is the OPPOSITE of waiting on the LORD, waiting only upon Him, looking to Him alone – from whom comes our Salvation. The moving and actions of the LORD are far greater than that which man can do or ever will. “For man looks [and works] on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks [and works] on the heart” 1 Samuel 16:7. It is like taking a very cool car and painting the outside of it until it looks absolutely gorgeous, yet the engine is dead, or has so many problems under the hood that it will not function properly to its fullest capability unless it is repaired. A teenage boy had a dream: He saw a man throwing a bundle over the side of a drop-off where there was a reddish-orange glow, he didn't know what it was. He looked over to see what was happening when the bundle was thrown in and there were terrible screams coming from it then the dream ended. The young man understood this dream to be from the LORD, and a man of GOD told him: Don't be curious about what the bundle was, the bundle was sin, and the more curious you are about sin, the further into its flames it will draw you until you are unable to return. “But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof” Romans 13:14. “Neither give place to the devil.” Ephesians 4:27 Proverbs 7:7 "I beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding” In this 7th chapter of Proverbs, there is the story of a young man who was instructed to desire Wisdom and Understanding, to keep GOD'S commandments and Law as the apple of his eye (his central focus). However he was in the street near the corner of the house of a strange woman [a picture of the Tempter who works to deceive both young and old to leave the paths of instruction and go the way that is appealing to the eyes – decorous, appealing to the taste and smell, riches, etc. - this is the way of the world. Proverbs 7:24-27 “Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. Let not thine heart decline to her ways [go down to her level], go not astray in her paths. For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.” Just because something is out there doesn't mean one has to know about it. Proverbs 8:4 “Unto you, O men, I call; and MY voice is to the sons of man.” 6 “Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of MY lips shall be right things.” 10 “Receive MY Instruction, and not silver; and Knowledge rather than choice gold.” 11 “For Wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.” 13 “The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.” 17 “I love them that love ME; and those that seek ME early shall find ME.” 21 “That I may cause those that love ME to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.” I pray with all my heart you will take heed (pay attention and obey) these words. THEY ARE FOR YOUR VERY LIFE. In Christ's Love, GOD Bless.

  • Why to Not Sin

While many have heard or read of the "ten commandments", it is important to know that they are not only ancient laws given by God that have ceased to have any bearing in the lives of people of the modern society. While the laws were given a long time ago, there is much to be learned of the wisdom from the One who gave them - God alone. Why? Simply: Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men (1 Corinthians 1:25). 1 Corinthians 10:6-10 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. We are not to lust after evil things as others have. The Lord does not tell us to go with the flow of what the people did, He is telling us to follow Him. James 1:14-15 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. We can be tempted to sin, but like a bad seed that is thrown into the soil, we must choose to discard it so it will not grow into lust, then sin which will bring the condemnation of death on our soul. Do not be idolaters then say “let's feast to the LORD!” or “it's for the LORD” as they did in Exodus 32:5-6, And when Aaron saw it [the idol they made of gold in the form of a calf] , he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the Lord. And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play. To worship any thing / image above or in the place of GOD is idolatry. GOD through Jesus must take preeminence above everything. What the Israelites did, in making an idol and worshiping it, was not service to GOD; although they said it was, it was in reality, idolatry. Later on, they did the same thing again, and kings stood for the worship of false gods, even encouraging it in the lands of Israel and of Judah. This was the Lord God's response to them: Jeremiah 19:4-5, 11-13 Because they have forsaken Me, and have estranged this place, and have burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents; They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into My mind: Jeremiah 19:11-13 [God instructed Jeremiah to] say unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaketh a potter's vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury them in Tophet, till there be no place to bury. Thus will I do unto this place, saith the Lord, and to the inhabitants thereof, and even make this city as Tophet: And the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses of the kings of Judah, shall be defiled as the place of Tophet, because of all the houses upon whose roofs they have burned incense unto all the host of heaven, and have poured out drink offerings unto other gods. (Tophet was a place that was used to offer up children as a burnt sacrifice to Molech). The innocent blood that was shed included that of the prophets who were sent to warn the people, the people who would not worship idols, and innocent children who were sacrificed to the idols. Children are a heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is His reward (Psalm 127:3). Therefore it is an abomination to the Lord to murder these innocent children for the sake of the idols of self-gratification, selfishness, and ungodly lusts. I am writing about these things, because the LORD does not want HIS people to be ignorant. He wants HIS people to know, to understand what sin is and why HE can't abide with sin. HE wants to teach us so we can learn to hate it as HE does, to abstain from it - as JESUS did when HE walked the face of the earth – and to be able to teach others the same. Neither commit fornication (1 Corinthians 10:8) What is fornication, why is it wrong? I looked it up in the dictionary and believe the definition of this word will explain for itself. The origin of this word comes from a Latin term which means to have intercourse with prostitutes , the synonyms are, to name a few: debauchery, depravity, infidelity, incontinence, indulgence, intemperance, lust, prostitution, harlotry, whoring. God said, " Be ye holy for I AM HOLY ". Fornication or whoring are also terms GOD uses when HIS people have removed themselves away from HIM to go and serve other gods. The reason is that, in fornication is also lack of care for true faithfulness or dedication in a relationship; it carries with it a willingness to go along with someone or something so long as no real commitment is required, thus making it disposable. However, just as God is faithful and dedicated in all things, so we must also be. God does not make empty promises, He will be true to His word; He expects those who make a commitment to Him to keep their word of promise as well. In a relationship with little to no commitment, the “promises” have no real bearing, because a person, without having made a vow, has no commitment to fulfill. Vows are made in front of witnesses, so that in the presence of God and man (2 or more witnesses), the man and his bride are bound to keep their promise to one another until death. Neither let us tempt Christ (1 Corinthians 10:9) Tempt in this case means to risk provoking. Exodus 17:2 and 7 Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the Lord?” And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the Lord, saying, Is the Lord among us, or not?” Deuteronomy 6:16 Ye shall not tempt the Lord your God, as ye tempted Him in Massah.” What happened at Massah? Numbers 21:5-9 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against thee; pray unto the Lord, that He take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. The serpent is sin, and Jesus was offered up as a sacrifice for sin. Once that sin is on the cross we cannot go back to it again, because the Bible tells us that it is the same as crucifying the Son of GOD afresh and putting Him to an open shame (see Hebrews 6:4-6). Neither murmur ye, as the people of Israel did many times in the wilderness and were destroyed (1 Corinthians 10:10) They were not able to enter the Promised Land because of their murmurings and disputings before the LORD (see Numbers 14:26-30). Philippians 2:14-15 Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world. Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. This was shared so the name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST can be glorified both now and forevermore. May many souls be saved by the preaching of this gospel as it is written in GOD'S Holy Word, because our God is merciful and He wants the world to be taught so that they will know to eschew (keep away from) evil (1 Thessalonians 5:12) and therefore be under His covering in the day of trouble. Psalm 91:14 Because he hath set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known My name. Amen and Amen.

  • No Longer Captive

The battle we fight “is not against flesh and blood” but is against spiritual wickedness in high places, however it can most certainly be felt and experienced in the physical realm; through afflictions, fears / emotions, and dreams. If we are to win, we must fight in the spiritual realm by the Word of God alone. Satan's job is to make things seem hopeless but he is a liar – for our hope is found in the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY the CREATOR of Heaven and Earth, the LORD who is Mighty in battle, the ONE who is MIGHTY to save. “The Lord is the STRENGTH of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1) Satan comes to us with words of doubt / disbelief, until we forget about the Power of God, MOST HIGH. (This comes from looking too much at the dismal surroundings of our situation, the dismal, gray walls of our Alcatraz island. We feel so alone in a gloomy room, and are at a loss of what to do or how to escape that prison house.) This is how Satan, by the temptation of his smooth words, can cause us to yield to his temptation to give up the fight for freedom. This is only to keep us bound, but I will tell you: Now is NOT the time to give up, nor give in, for the battle is nearly over. It may seem easier to give in, to let down the defenses because it is not an easy road. You become tired and worn down, but lift up your head, for your Redemption, Deliverance, and Salvation is very close. Glory to God! He (our enemy) wants you (to whomever this is speaking) to think it's not nearly over so you will stay bound and not fight back, but CHRIST the LORD came to set the prisoner free, to give sight to the blind, to raise up those who were dead in trespasses and sin, to heal the broken in heart, and to bind up their wounds, to heal those who are sick, TO SET THE CAPTIVES FREE! HALLELUJAH! Glory be to the name Most High, the One who has been a shelter for me and a STRONG TOWER from the enemy. Glory be to His name on High, to the One who has been my FORTRESS and DELIVERER, who has given me a song, and has been for me my song in the night season!!! Glory be to His Holy name who LIVES and reigns on High, in whose shadow I dwell. Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah. I love You, Lord, with all my heart. Your praises shall forever be in my mouth that I may sing praises to You, my Lord, my God, the Lifter up of my head. Forever and ever may Your name be worshiped and adored. May Your praises be sung both in Heaven forever and on earth so long as the sun and moon shall endure. May Your precious Holy name be lifted up and adored forever and ever and ever! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord who is worthy to be praised forever and ever. Amen and Amen. Psalm 18:24-28 - Therefore hath the Lord recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in His eyesight. With the merciful Thou wilt shew Thyself merciful; with an upright man Thou wilt shew Thyself upright; with the pure Thou wilt shew Thyself pure; and with the froward Thou wilt shew thyself froward. For Thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks. For Thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.

  • Obedience – The Law of GOD

Deuteronomy 6:24-25 - And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is at this day. And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as He hath commanded us. Know that the LORD GOD set all these things in stone ( Exodus 24:12 , Deuteronomy 9:10 ) as a testimony for us – that IF we would observe to do what the LORD our GOD commanded us to do, then the LORD would bless us and keep us and HIS face would shine upon us and we will find rest for our souls. ( Numbers 6:24 , Matthew 11:29 ) Again in Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Think about this one aspect of becoming a Christian that nobody wants to know: Study to know, Observe to do, and Practice. Anybody who wants to be a doctor, nurse, lawyer, firefighter, police officer, or any of the many other professions there are (scientist, teacher, preacher, farmer, etc..) knows they have to study all they can in order to be good at what they do – be worthy of that vocation (or calling). If they do otherwise (take shortcuts or do not study) the results can be detrimental even fatal. However, the one who does the opposite (studying diligently) will most certainly have good success in their field. The same it is with the Christian. After receiving Salvation, living the life of a believer in Christ is the exact same thing as studying for any given profession. One must be fully devoted, studying GOD'S Word at every opportunity to learn all they can learn to observe [to conform one's action or practice to (something, such as a law or condition) : comply with] to do all GOD commands us to do. Even Jesus, Who in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him that was able to save Him from death, and was heard in that He feared; Though He were a Son, yet learned HE obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, He became the Author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey HIM . - Hebrews 5:7-9 Our Salvation is contingent on our obedience. There is no easy way, no slipping into Heaven by just believing in GOD'S existence, or by our saying Jesus is GOD'S Son, or that we believe GOD created the world. One cannot go about this life claiming Christianity and not living it. But be ye doers of the Word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. - James 1:22 God said, For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put My laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to Me a people - Hebrews 8:10 Serve the Lord with gladness:... Know ye that the Lord He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. - Psalm 100:2, 3 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me:.. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. - John 10:5, 27 ...turn not aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart - I Samuel 12:20 GOD Bless, and may His name be praised and glorified forevermore. AMEN !!!

  • The Will of GOD

A person writes a will while he is alive, and its instructions are carried out once the individual passes away. The will names a still-living person as the executor of the estate. That person is responsible for administering the estate. Estate: possessions or property. A last will and testament is a legal document that communicates a person's final wishes pertaining to possessions and dependents. It outlines what to do with possessions, whether he is leaving them to another person or group or donating them to charity, and what happens to other things for which he is responsible. When a person dies without a valid will, the state becomes the executor of the estate. In settling the estate, the state decides how to distribute the property and who receives payment first, without any consideration for a family’s circumstances. Any blood relative can stake a claim to the estate. What a great blessing that God (our Father) has laid everything out for us, and has not left it up to the discretion of others (or lack thereof) to decide what is to be our inheritance or if we are to receive any inheritance at all. Psalm 143:10 - Teach me to do Thy will; for Thou art my God: Thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness. What is the will of God today? How do we know what His will is for us? This is a two part question: one part being that the will of God is what He desires us to do in this life, the other part being what He has left to us being sons and daughters of the Most High Almighty, Living God who is powerful above all. Things we know: It is the will of GOD to do good and to have good done in HIS sight. It is His will to be our GOD, that we would be HIS people, and that HIS people would delight in HIS ways. Jeremiah 31:33-34 - But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be My people. Ezekiel 37: 22-23 - And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be My people, and I will be their God. And David My servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in My judgments, and observe My statutes, and do them. Ezekiel 39:25 - Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for My holy name; Matthew 21:28-31 - But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. In saying this, it related to the fact that the first son refused in the beginning to do the will of his father, but later was willing to do it after he repented. This is like the publicans and harlots who first lived their lives in disobedience to the will of the Father, however in their repentance they turn to do His will sincerely. The second son said he would do the will of his father, and he did not do it at all. Jesus was speaking to the chief priests and elders, when He said that the publicans and harlots would go into the Kingdom of God before them, because they are as the second son was. By all appearances and their words, they seemed to be in the act of doing the will of the Father; but they were not. Mark 3:31-35 - There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him. And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee. And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren? And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother. The scripture says one is defined as a child of God by the works that they do: fulfilling the Will of the Father (as it was stated in Mark 3:35) Praise God! Therefore those who do the will of the Father which is to witness and testify (give testimony of the great things God has done in them), those people can know that they are recognized by God as brother, or sister or mother in the Body of our Lord Jesus Christ. All those who worship Him, must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth – bearing witness of the Truth (which is Jesus) in them, allowing the Holy Spirit to speak through them. This is the Power of God unto Salvation – preaching the gospel. Many will not want to hear it, but you are fulfilling the will of the Father – that is what matters. Romans 12:1-2 - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Galatians 1:3-4 - Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: * There are contingencies in the will of God: 2 Kings 21:7-9 - When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God , and shalt be obedient unto His voice ; (For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) He will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which He sware unto them.” 1 Chronicles 28:8-10 - Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the congregation of the Lord, and in the audience of our God, keep and seek for all the commandments of the Lord your God: that ye may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance for your children after you for ever. And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts , and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him , He will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, He will cast thee off for ever. Take heed now ; for the Lord hath chosen thee to build an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it. Matthew 7:13-25 - Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me , ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them , I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. He does not want to see any soul lost in whatever manner. John 3:16-17 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. He has set the law. It must be done His way. Walk in the Light of His Truth. Buy the Truth, but don't sell it. Give up what you have to in order to seek and know the Truth of God which is found through His Word; don't sell it - give it up for other things which are cheap – nothing has more worth than the Wisdom of God and the Word of the Lord, both reading, study, and living it. Psalm 19:7-11 - The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the Lord is clean , enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is Thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. The Lord only wants to pass on His legacy/ inheritance to those who will value it as much as He does. Luke 10:21-22 - In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank Thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that Thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in Thy sight. All things are delivered to Me of My Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal Him. The Lord has reserved these things for those who are willing to be His beneficiaries, who will uphold His Will to do according to all that He has asked. When we are willing to accept that role, the provision in the Will is for those who uphold it, if we do not do our part, then the part promised to us becomes null and void. It is based upon our commitment to the fulfillment of our part. His promises are faithful and true to all those who diligently seek His face fulfilling the Will of the Father willingly and with all their heart, all their soul, all their mind, and all their strength. Give it your all and all will be yours. John 6:38-39 - For I came down from heaven, not to do Mine own will, but the will of Him that sent Me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which He hath given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. John 17:12 - While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Thy name: those that Thou gavest Me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. John 17:24 - Father, I will that they also, whom Thou hast given Me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. May we guard our inheritance with all our might and may the Lord Jesus Christ dwell in us richly that we may may be found worthy in that day. Revelation 3:4-6 - Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white: for they are worthy . He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. May God bless you all always. Amen

  • Devotion

I believe the Lord brings us to a point in our lives where WE know that all we need is Him. We pass through our daily lives – routinely, if you will – and we say we have Jesus Christ living in us, we know that He will be with us always “even to the end of the world” ; and we devote time to Him once, or maybe more times out of the day. Then we pray, “Lord, I need, I want more of You in my life, please fill me with Your presence. May Your Holy Spirit fill me that I may have more of You and less of me.” We pray these anxious prayers from a longing heart, and God hears. What do you think His answer will be? God is not a vending machine, and He will not be toyed with, so if you want more of God, His response will be, “My child, you need to devote more of your time to Me.” The apostles gave themselves to fasting and prayer, the prophets and countless others did the same. They were truly devoted. Analyze : If you want more of God in you: What do you do with your time now? Do you use it to watch movies or other TV shows, sports, read books, play games or do other recreational activities? If you were to analyze how you spend your time versus what you need to spend the time doing in day to day living, you may find how much more time can be opened up for God if all the unnecessary things were gotten rid of. Much like getting rid of the clutter in a home or work space. If you open the space in you for God, He will fill it – when it is no longer occupied with the busyness, to-do's, activities and entertainment. Ask Him to help you analyze your home and life for Him: to look at things from His perspective in order to keep only the things that will truly benefit now and eternally. Think, “How long will I allow the things of this world – that are right now a part of my life- to prick me, to be thorns in my side? What will the end of this be? I must root up and throw out these things that are trying to choke the Word of God out of me. I must get rid of them, or they will destroy me.” God intended for man to take care of the garden. So my dear brother or sister, what will your end be? Will you serve God or mammon? We cannot serve both. One will overcome the other. I pray that God is permitted to rule in your life, so that in your garden there is much fruit born in your life - the fruitfulness of the Holy Spirit of God. I pray that we will be found to be good, excellent keepers of the Garden of God. In Christ's name. Amen. In Christ's love, so I love you all. May God bless you and keep you, may His name be glorified in you. Amen.

  • A Message for the Young and Old

Our life is like a vapor of smoke that is scattered by wind and disappears. James 4:13-14 - Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. We have a beginning, we also have an end of life here on this Earth. This life is only temporary. We must begin to think about all we have done and all we plan to do because the end of our lives is nearing. 1st Peter 1:24-25 - For All Flesh is as grass and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth and the flower thereof falleth away, but the word of the Lord endureth forever. And this is the word by which the gospel is preached unto you. When I look at the scripture reference 1st Peter 1:24, it reminds me that we have 1 day at a time to live with 24 hours in each day. How are we using these hours? There is a common phrase: 'You have your whole life ahead of you' . The Book of Ecclesiastes was written for the purpose of bringing things into perspective. We are born, we live, make money, plant a vineyard, etc., some men make a name for themselves. God gave us these things on earth so that we can enjoy them, but if that is the only purpose for which we live, then it is all vanity. Ecclesiastes 12:13 - Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter; fear God and keep HIS Commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. Every single person who died and is buried in the cemetery or some other place had to give account before God. Ecclesiastes 12:14 - For God shall bring every work into judgment with every secret thing whether it be good or whether it be evil. We are among those who are alive now, and what will we do with our lives? Many things will come and go - fashions, cars, jobs, etc. We may move from one home to another; but at the heart of it all, who will you be found to be when you stand before the Lord? Will you be able to say honestly 'I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course I have kept the faith?' And will there be the response to you, “Come in thou good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of thy Lord”? This is a personal walk between you and God. Examine yourself: are you sincere in your commitment to God? Do you make the effort on your own to seek God through prayer and reading His Word? No one is too young or too old to die, just be sure you are ready for that day when it comes. The power and wisdom of God is that we become mature in Him. It doesn't matter what age you are now, but that you would allow HIM to live in you more fully with the understanding that this life of service to the Lord does not go unrewarded. “Be sober” He tells us. 1 Peter 4:7 - But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. It is not by ourselves, but by HIM (God Almighty) and for HIM that we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28). When we have a complete understanding of this point made so many times in scripture we begin to understand the fullness and the value in dedicating our service to the LORD CHRIST. To HIS name be the glory, honor, and praise forever. Amen. May God bless you all. If you want to know the LORD JESUS CHRIST as your LORD and SAVIOR, ask Him into your heart today and He will come in. Revelation 3:20 - Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me . Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, who died on the cross and was raised from the dead, overcoming sin, death and Hell. Acts 16:31 - ... Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Confess your sins to God, and ask Him to forgive you and wash you in the precious blood of JESUS His Son. 1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness . Once we are forgiven, we are no longer held accountable for our past sin against God, but we are responsible for being mindful to keep God's commandments. John 8:11 - ... And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Go and sin no more. Take up your cross and follow Him in the way that leads to Life Eternal. (Luke 9:23) John 10:9 - I am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. • Choose You this Day

I really love my country, the United States of America. I recall reading in the history books as a child in school about this beautiful land and reading the words, “O beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain, for purple mountains majesty, above the fruited plain”. I thought, "One day, I would like to see these lands pictured here in this book." I was impressed at the greatness and beauty of this land, the United States of America. It saddens my heart greatly to see this country in the state that it is now; and it is out of love for this country and love for the truth that I am writing these things. It is most unfortunate that the people of the nations both in and around the United States must be subjected to ruler-ship that does not rule for the benefit of the people and that they must be allowed to suffer such hardships as they have have. It is unfortunate that down through the history of the United States (both before and after they became united) they colonized by conquering the peoples who lived here, putting them in slavery and keeping them in a type of bondage even until now. The peoples who were were originally of this country are still being suppressed in such a way that, on the surface, does not appear to be slavery, but they have been forced to be dependent upon the U.S. government because of government regulations, to the point which that it poses a great challenge for them to be as self-sufficient and prosperous as they once were. I am a United States-born citizen and have been able to enjoy freedoms as a citizen, but I have also seen some of the evils permitted by the United States government. Most people who have seen even a portion of these things can know that the United States of America is not all that it was intended to be - a land of free and brave citizens. Those who know the history of this country, know that many arrived out of desire for freedom. Unfortunately, while there were those who fought for freedom on the one hand, others were consumed by greed. Many were enslaved and badly mistreated and others were in the beginning processes of becoming captives. For those who don't realize it, I will spell it out for you, this country is geared towards all of its citizens becoming its captive subjects. Look at the real news, see what is happening. There is no real justice in the system, there is lawlessness in the land. This is all a process – the whole thing is a charade. Open your eyes and you will see. Things are changing and they are going to change quickly. I am warning you now, when there is injustice in the system, there is a plan in the works behind all of it. The end being captivity. Do not be enslaved in your thoughts by the news media – they are leading you down the yellow-brick road and the one behind the curtain is the god of this world, the Devil himself orchestrating all of this to lead one soul, no, thousands of souls astray at a time through the voices calling out telling lies and deceit. Sadly, the truth is that almost all have gone astray. If you don't believe what I am telling you, I am sorry for you. The United States motto, “In God we Trust”, may have been true for some in high places, but it is certainly not true for all and it is even less so now, if there are any at all. It was said to be the Land of the Free, but those governing the land have been little by little, selling freedom for cheap. Freedom comes from living righteously, but freedom has instead been given up for riotous living, therefore bringing more and more into captivity. What is captivity? Look around at how many organizations have been founded to bring about freedom and you will find what some of the captivities are: drug and alcohol addiction (both are drunkenness), sex addiction (pornography, prostitution, not to mention human trafficking), food addictions (gluttony), bullying, gambling, among any other things all of which are based on selfish desires, self-satisfaction. These have affected those in high places, low places and everyone in between. These addictions have brought about consequences such as: broken marriages and families, abuses, orphans, abortions, depressions, loss of jobs, homelessness, imprisonments, suicides, and many other potentially traumatizing situations. (Note: 2 Timothy chapter 3) This does not reflect trust in God, nor true freedom from anything – only freedom to do all the wrong things with the justice system to back them up. The American public has been trained to think that these things are alright - the decency policy being pushed back just a little bit more each year, the mind is then brought to seeing this as the norm. Television keeps the public occupied with all the entertainment, the entertaining news, all manner of short videos, and anything that will catch the viewers attention for shock value. There are literally hundreds of TV channels with everything under the sun being displayed whether clean or unclean, some things somewhat godly and everything ungodly in the world. All to further blind the eye of the people so they are tossed to and fro in the darkness of this world. How is it that with all this corruption going on, it is believed that God will bless America? How is blessing possible if sin is allowed to run rampant? Everything that is against God is permitted and yet “God bless America”? A blessing, really? Such a farce, such a lie this is. God will not bless an ungodly nation. He will only bless a nation who has made Him to be their God, the center of their universe, the center of their existence. John 14:23: Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18: Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?  And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.  Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,  And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. Hebrews 8:10-11 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:  And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. But no, instead of this, the center of the existence has become (has been for quite some time) the gods of this world, false beliefs that have taken hold of the heart of man and become their center because they have allowed it. People have yielded themselves as servants to sin, therefore sin reigns in and rules them If they allow God to live and reign in them, they would have the power to live righteously. There is no blessing, only curses in store for the wicked. (II Sam. 22:27) This is sad but true. This is not coming from me, but from God. I am only repeating what God says in His Word. (Do not be deceived know ye not that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God - 1 Corinthians 6:9). He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He said, “I AM God, I change not” (Malachi 3:6). Repent and you will not be destroyed – see the example of the people of Nineveh (see the book of Jonah chapter 3). Each of us individually have a choice. This world is destined to be condemned, but we have a choice: to be on the side of the Lord the Truth, or to be destroyed with the world and those who follow after sin and the Father of lies (Satan). “Behold I set before you life and death, a blessing and a curse” (Deuteronomy 30:19) – YOU choose this day whom you will serve. Based on your decision, you are destined for either Heaven (Life) or Hell (Death) for eternity. originally written: July 22, 2019 Sister Lin

  • Ultimately...the Decision is...

Romans Chapter 8 #1 – When we are born-again, we are born of the Spirit of God thus making us children of God and heirs to the Kingdom of God, but we must go through suffering just as Christ did that we may be ready to obtain this inheritance having learned obedience just as Jesus did. Hebrews 5:8 though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered; Romans 8:8-9 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. Romans 8:16-17 - The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. #2 – While we wait for the coming of Christ, our spirits groan within ourselves as we enter the sufferings of Christ. However, the Holy Spirit knows the hearts and minds and makes intercession for us with the groanings we could not have uttered; this is why when we go in prayer to God we have need of asking Him to guide us in our prayer that it might be His will accomplished through that prayer – that His name truly would be praised and exalted for all time. Rom. 8:22-23 - For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. Romans 8:26-27 - Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because He maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. The Spirit, is the Holy Spirit of God, which Jesus asked our Father to send to us when Jesus had to leave the earth physically. The Holy Spirit was sent in His place to be the Comforter, so we would have God with us always, and it would be just as He said: Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world (Matthew 28:20). - This same Holy Spirit intercedes for us when we don't know how or what we should pray. The Spirit makes intercessory requests on our behalf according to what God's will is. Romans 8:28-29 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Romans 8:30-32 - Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 2 Timothy 2:19 - Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are His. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. With this understanding, Romans 8:34 - Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. If we know that we belong to Christ, and if we are determined to depart from iniquity, knowing that we not only name the name of Christ, but are representatives of Jesus Christ, being called by His name, we bear His name, then... Romans 8: 35a-37 - Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. Romans 8:38-39 - For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Persuade: to move by argument, entreaty, or expostulation to a belief, position, or course of action (Merriam-Webster) It is a word which from Latin is: persuādēre, from per- (intensive) + suādēre to urge, advise / to prevail on (a person) to do something, as by advising or urging: to induce to believe by appealing to reason or understanding; convince: (from dictionary.com) Paul, a very intelligent, well-educated man, who had been through tribulation and distress and great persecution, and more, was convinced, completely converted to the belief that nothing would be able to separate us from the love of Christ SO LONG AS we have this resolve as he did. Paul believed the words of Christ when He said: Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also (Luke 12:32-34). Ultimately, the decision to follow Christ and to endure is ours. In Christ is provided all of our needs so that we would have all resources necessary available to us. Therefore, He is our ALL in ALL, everything we need at any given point and in every aspect of our lives, He provides. The decision to continue in the patient love of Christ is ours. Revelation 14:12 - Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. May GOD'S name be praised and His name glorified, from this time forth and even forevermore! AMEN.

  • Come Boldly...

The Resurrection... Three women went to seek Jesus early one morning thinking they would have to somehow move a big boulder out of the way in order to reach Him (this was to anoint His body for burial); but when they got there, they found the stone had been rolled away. I found this to be similar to us. We set out to seek the Lord to give Him our worship that is due Him and pay our vows to Him. There are times when we believe it will be a feat difficult to accomplish, like that of a large boulder blocking our way. We must not go to Christ as if He were lifeless and without power to remove any hindrance (no matter how great) out of our way in order for us to have access to Him. My dear friends, to believe this is to believe a lie. Jesus Christ is NOT dead, He is alive and reigns forevermore!!! Hebrews 12:1-2 - Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin [including that of doubt] which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking [up] unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. When they (the women) looked, they saw the stone was rolled away – their eyes, their mind and heart were opened to see and God made them to know when the two angels spoke to them, that Jesus Christ was (and is) indeed ALIVE!! There was no more question, or wondering if it could be true, they knew IT IS TRUE! So it IS, it must be with us today, dear brethren. We must approach the throne of God with BOLDNESS, assured that we have access through Christ to God the HEAVENLY FATHER in whom all fullness dwells. We must know (and if you don't, know it now): Jesus Christ died, rose again, and lives forever. All power in Heaven and Earth belongs to Him. All power to forgive sin (of any kind, except blasphemy of the Holy Spirit) belongs to Him – If you will come to Him and accept Jesus Christ into your heart and life, He will set you free from the shackles of sin and death – that you also may live and reign with Him forever. This is God's Word and His Word is true which I am sharing with you. I pray that you will accept Him today, begin to live a new life in Christ Jesus and that He would become your Salvation! God said: Psalm 91:14 - Because he hath set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known My name. He is waiting for you. For those of you who have accepted Christ and have already begun to live and reign in Him, may we always keep in remembrance that Jesus Christ, who raised us up into New Life with Him, is ready and willing to hear the fervent prayer of the righteous. May He move in the lives of the people, that ALL who call upon Him may be Saved, Delivered, Redeemed, Healed, and Rescued. God Bless and may the name of the Lord be praised Forever and Ever. Amen.
