  • Praise Unfeigned

What does it mean to praise the Lord? Why do we praise the Lord? David said, “Hear the right, O Lord, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips” (Psalm 17:2). Praise, as much as the prayer, must not go out of feigned lips or else it is not worthy to be offered up to an Almighty, all-wonderful, all-knowing God. Each individual has the responsibility to honor God with the praise of his lips. The scripture says, “the fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16). If anybody wants to receive anything from the Lord they have to cry out to God to get it. If they want salvation they have to ask. If they want healing they have to ask. We have to preach to them the word of faith that saves the sick (James 5:15). Then they have to reach out in faith believing the word of truth that saves, that heals. Both the prayer and the praise must be sincere, God does not accept fake or insincere praise. The Bible in Psalms 22:3 says, "But Thou Art holy, O Thou that inhabits the Praises of Israel." God inhabits the Praises of His people... "Sing to the Lord, all ye Saints of His..." - Psalm 30:4 How powerful is the praise of those who offer Praises unto God in spirit and in truth. It is not just a word of 'Praise the Lord' or 'Hallelujah' (which means the same thing) it is the union of ourselves to a most holy God through praise. We are uniting with God in prayer and praise so that His will would be accomplished on the earth; to allow the Holy Spirit to move in us to make new creatures of the lost souls. The psalmist said in Psalm 86:11-12: "Teach me Thy way O Lord I will walk in Thy truth unite My heart to Fear Thy Name. I will praise Thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart and I will glorify Thy name forever more." The Lord brought to my memory of portion I knew was in the scriptures that talks about Strange Fire. I looked it up and found it is in Leviticus 10:1- 3: "And Nadab and Abihu the sons of Aaron took either of them his sensor and put fire there on and offered strange fire before the Lord, which He commanded them not. And there went out fire from the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord. Then Moses said unto Aaron this is it that the Lord spake saying, I will be Sanctified in them that come nigh Me and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace." We read in verse 10 of the same chapter after God had given them further instructions on how the priests were to conduct themselves, it says "And that ye may put difference between Holy and unholy and between unclean and clean." The other day a sister shared the following scripture: Exodus 19: 5-6, "Now therefore if ye will obey My voice indeed, and keep MY Covenant, then shall he be a peculiar treasure unto ME above all people for all the Earth is Mine and ye shall be unto Me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. These are the words which Thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel." May the Praises that we offer be wholly Sanctified, worthy, acceptable, in His eyes to bring glory to HIS name. Let us close with the scripture Hebrews 12: 28-29: “Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have Grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: for our God is a Consuming Fire.” A Spanish gospel song says, I will praise You, my Lord, I praise You, Because You are precious for me, Because together with You I am walking, Because I feel your presence in Me I praise you, I Praise You, My Soul does not get tired of praising you, I praise you, I praise You, While life exists in my being. Amen. Glory to God! May God be with you always.

  • Under HIS Wings

As I see situations unfolding all around, and escalating, it becomes more and more clear to me how much we have to confide in the Lord because man is man, but God is GOD. The arm of flesh will fail you, but those who put their trust in the Lord will Never be ashamed. Praise God! No matter what type of government is put into place, man has always become filled with greed, hungry for power, forgetful of the purpose of their position (to care for the people) and somehow it becomes about them and not about helping the people – just furthering their agenda. Every country to some extent is experiencing this to some degree. So where do we go? To whom do we turn? The only way to turn is to the Creator of heaven and earth and all that is in it. He will hear your cry, if you will turn to Him, He will deliver you. He will deliver you. He has no political agenda, He already IS in power and no one can remove Him from His place. Turn to Him now, let Him guide to and keep you in all your ways.

  • Behold the Goodness and Severity

God Loves You Those whom I love I rebuke and chasten (Revelation 3:19) For God sent not His Son to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved (John 3:17-18) As a father chastens his son, whom he loves, so does our Heavenly Father do the same with His children who He loves (Hebrews 12:6-7) Come out of her, My people, that you do not take part in the condemnation of this world – which is already condemned (Revelation 18:4) One must not preach that God loves people and only proclaim God's love for them and that He is willing to give them whatever they ask for as long as they come to His feet; God loves them and wants to take them out of a bad situation; God loves them and wants all the best for them, WITHOUT ALSO preaching to them the way to have Eternal Life through Christ Jesus. God's Word says that the people must be brought to the knowledge of repentance. True repentance is when one turns to God in full recognition of needing and getting forgiveness for their sins against GOD Almighty. Telling a person to turn to God for the sole purpose of receiving riches, honor, wealth, and a good life here on earth is NOT teaching the true way to have eternal life. It is a grave error, and this is also why many have departed from the real True faith in Christ. They have begun to think and believe that is how God wants it; therefore, they have one foot on the Bible and the other one in the world trying to serve both God and mammon. They do not realize it because their eyes are blinded to that fact by the many deceitful teachings of so many misguided pastors and teachers. God's Word says, How shall they know except someone tell them? So, I am telling you now, THIS IS WRONG, SO VERY WRONG. You must depart from this and seek God's real and true Word. Depart from the sayings which so many gone before you have been teaching and preaching focusing mainly on prosperity, and miracles and wealth and riches and honor, and the good life WITHOUT THE TEACHING OF THE FULL GOSPEL OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST; WITHOUT THIS, MAN WILL NOT BE SAVED. THEY WILL GO INTO HELL THINKING AND BELIEVING THESE LIES (THESE HALF-TRUTHS), BECAUSE YOU, WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR TELLING THEM THE FULL GOSPEL TRUTH, DID NOT DO IT. THE LORD WILL HOLD YOU ACCOUNTABLE FOR NOT DOING SO, HE WILL HOLD YOU ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR SOULS. GET RIGHT WITH GOD AND START TEACHING THE PEOPLE THE TRUTH. THESE ARE THE SOULS FOR WHOM CHRIST DIED. DO YOU NOT CARE ENOUGH ABOUT THEM TO TEACH THEM THE TRUTH? Seek God's Word. Eat the Word, for it is Spirit and it is Life. Goodness shall follow all those who eat and drink of it all the days of their life and they will dwell in the House of the Lord forever (Psalm 23:2, 6). Amen and Amen. May the Lord's name be praised from this time forth and even forevermore. AMEN AND AMEN. GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST, AND ON EARTH, PEACE, GOODWILL TOWARDS MEN. The Lord Jesus Christ is coming on the earth again. Will you be one of them who go to be with HIM forever or will you be reckoned among those on earth who remain to be destroyed with the earth? The decision is that serious and it is only yours to make. I hope and pray this message impacts your life and the lives of many others. For the time is now short and we have no time to lose. Please hear what the Word of the Lord says to you this day and act upon it. You will be happy you did. Deuteronomy 30:19-20 - I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey His voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto Him: for He is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them. I do not know you, but the Lord God does. I compel you to seek God while He may be found. Ask Him and He will answer you. Knock and the door will be opened unto you. Matthew 7:8 - For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Revelation 2:29 - He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Matthew 10:39 - He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for My sake shall find it. Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 26 - He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. And he that overcometh, and keepeth My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: Revelation 3:12, 21 - Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from My God: and I will write upon him My new name. What is it we are being told to overcome? The answer is: sin, temptation from Satan, the compelling of the world to take part in their evil pleasures for a time. (Hebrews 11:24-26) The end of all these is destruction; that must not be our part, our portion. Psalm 11:5-7 - The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence His soul hateth. Upon the wicked He shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. For the righteous Lord loveth righteousness; His countenance doth behold the upright. What is wickedness in the eyes of the Lord? Look up this word in the word search of your Bible and if it has not been altered, it will say exactly what wickedness is: fornication, adultery, murder, incest, stealing, man lying with man, women lying with women, hatred towards one another, gossip is also sin in the eyes of God, shedding of innocent blood (also abortion is counted in with this, as it is killing a living, innocent child within the mother's womb – people sacrificed their little children to the false god, Molech, which is an abomination in the eyes of GOD), the worshiping of idols, burning incense to false gods/idols, praying to the dead, incantations, witchcraft of any kind (this includes magic, sorcery, necromancy, the calling up of the dead spirits which are in reality, demons). GOD HATES ALL OF THIS. Anyone that loves and makes up lies. Look it up, it is all written in there [Mark 7:21-23, Romans 1:22-31, Galatians 5:15-21]. If you did not know this before, please know it now. GOD is a JUST GOD and a HOLY God - The Only Wise God (1 Timothy 1:17), the Bible says (among many other names). Behold, the goodness and severity of God. We must seek to know the Truth and stick with the Truth – Do not divert from it. Proverbs 23:23 - Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding. People are so quick to believe the good side of God, because it is sweet to hear, but they forget or they do not know the other side of God which goes alongside His goodness. This is what makes Him so good, because He casts out ALL evil from before His eyes and will not abide the sight of sin. For this reason, when He sees sin in us, He makes us to know it, BECAUSE HE IS THE ONLY GOOD AND ALL WISE GOD. Therefore, He will teach sinners in the way. He will teach them, but it is up to them to take heed to what He is teaching them and obey it. Deuteronomy 31:12 - Gather the people together, men and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the Lord your God, and observe to do all the words of this law: Matthew 11:29 - Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. He wants us to find true rest, not temporary relief. All His ways are Judgment, and all His paths are peace. He judges our actions as we go along. He leads us in the WAY of THE TRUTH, by which we will have peace in our souls, and we will know that in this way alone we will obtain Eternal LIFE – ONLY THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR. Hallelujah! Amen. Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him, they will never be ashamed. They will shout for joy and also sing praises to the MOST HIGH GOD. Psalm 34:8-14 - O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him. O fear the Lord, ye His saints: for there is no want to them that fear Him. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord. What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. Psalm 40:3-4 - And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord. Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. If you are one of those who truly cares for the sheep enough to warn them of impending danger should they depart from the WAY of the LORD, then praise be to GOD and please pass this on to others you know. However, if you are not warning the people as the LORD tells us to do in order that the eyes of the spiritually blind might see, the spiritually deaf may hear, the spiritually lame may walk and the spiritual lepers may be cleansed, then please, hear the Words of the LORD now for HE says to you, Psalm 34:11 - Come, ye children, hearken unto ME: I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Matthew 11:29 - Take MY yoke upon you, and learn of ME; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Hebrews 10:37-39 - For yet a little while, and He that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, My soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

  • Temptation

What is temptation? Temptation: the act of tempting or the state of being tempted especially to evil :enticement Enticement: to attract artfully or adroitly or by arousing hope or desire (synonyms - allure, betray, bait, beguile, seduce, solicit) We all may know the saying which is also in a song “Yield not to Temptation”. According to the scripture in James 1:14, But every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed. Romans 6:16 - Know ye not that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? 2 Chronicles 30:8 - Now be ye not stiff-necked as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into HIS sanctuary which He hath sanctified forever; and serve the LORD your GOD, that the fierceness of His wrath may turn away from you. Daniel 3:28 - Then Nebuchanezzar spake and said, Blessed be the GOD of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent His Angel and delivered His servants that trusted in Him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies that they might not serve nor worship any god except their own GOD. They glorified God in their bodies through their obedience to God in yielding themselves, not as servants to sin as the majority of others did, but by yielding themselves as a living sacrifice unto the LORD GOD. The LORD strengthened them in this through His Word, the Law, and He delivered them because they trusted in HIM. Live or die, it was more important to them to uphold the Law of God in themselves than to obey the will of man. Who is willing to say and do as these men did, and as the apostles in response to those who opposed them, say We ought to obey GOD rather than men - Acts 5:29 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? - 1 Corinthians 3:16 Temptation to sin is just that: tempting, teasing of the senses and of the mind to try to get you enthralled with the idea, to eat or drink of its fruit – the end of which is bitterness. It must be squelched, put out. Don't let the “fire of desire” burn in you, only the fiery zeal to do the will of GOD. The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up. - John 2:17 This can only be accomplished by standing on the Word of God (make it your foundation) letting it be established / built up in you. In this way will you be able to stand against the wiles of our enemy, the devil. James 1:15 - When lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin, and sin when it is finished bringeth forth death. Proverbs 23:6-8, 12 - Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats: For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words. Apply thine heart unto instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge. It is not enough just to know the promises of God, that He will do good for you; with that is also the knowledge that HE will Do good... unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts. - Psalm 125:4. Thus the promises of God apply to those who walk in the Way of Righteousness, whose desire it is to please the LORD GOD our Father. Psalm 119:35 - Make me to go in the path of Thy commandments; for therein do I delight. May this always be our prayer and the only desire of the heart. May God be praised whose mercy endures forever towards those who love HIM and fear HIM. Blessed are all those who put their trust in HIM. Amen and Amen. God bless you all as you follow HIM.

  • Hannah's Prayer

1 Samuel 2:1-10 And Hannah prayed, and said, my heart rejoiceth in the Lord, mine horn is exalted in the Lord: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in Thy Salvation. There is none holy as the Lord: for there is none beside Thee: neither is there any Rock like our God. Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by Him actions are weighed. The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength. They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren woman hath born seven and she that hath many children is waxed feeble. The Lord killeth, and maketh alive: He bringeth down to the grave and bringeth up. He raiseth up the poor, and maketh rich: He bringeth low and lifteth up, He raiseth up the poor out of the dust and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and He hath set the world upon them. He will keep the feet of His saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall He thunder upon them: the Lord shall judge the ends of the earth; and He shall give strength unto His king, and exalt the horn of His anointed. Who is the enemy of the Lord and His people? Whatever rises up against His people to persecute, oppress, or destroy – those are the enemies of God and His people. The enemies can come in different forms: affliction or infirmity, or as in Hannah's situation, a woman who constantly mocked and ridiculed her because of her inability to conceive and bear children. For this, Hannah poured out her soul before the Lord; she made her cry known to God and the Lord heard her. The Lord responded and gave her the potential (strength in her body) to conceive and bear a son, Samuel. The scripture mentions she had 5 more children after him (three sons and two daughters). Praise God!!! What is your enemy today? What is it that afflicts your soul? Is your enemy trying to make your blessing a burden instead? Trust in the Lord - He is your help and your shield. Hope in His Word Joshua 17:14-18 - And the children of Joseph spake unto Joshua, saying, Why hast thou given me but one lot and one portion to inherit, seeing I am a great people, forasmuch as the Lord hath blessed me hitherto? And Joshua answered them, If thou be a great people, then get thee up to the wood country, and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee. And the children of Joseph said, The hill is not enough for us: and all the Canaanites that dwell in the land of the valley have chariots of iron, both they who are of Beth-shean and her towns, and they who are of the valley of Jezreel. And Joshua spake unto the house of Joseph, even to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying, Thou art a great people, and hast great power: thou shalt not have one lot only: but the mountain shall be thine; for it is a wood, and thou shalt cut it down: and the outgoings of it shall be thine: for thou shalt drive out the Canaanites, though they have iron chariots, and though they be strong. God is not mistaken when He gives a blessing to us, He will give us the understanding of what to do with it, and how we can fully enjoy His blessing. Though the children of Joseph did not realize the fullness of what they had, it did not mean it was not theirs. The Lord blessed them with land they were capable of possessing. The children of Joseph had to be made aware of their capability. Even though the enemy had chariots of iron and were strong, the children / tribe of Joseph was fully able to go in and overcome their enemies through God who would give them strength. Psalm 18:2 - The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. The Lord would not give them something that would be a burden instead of a blessing. It would take effort on their part to establish the land, but it would be a joy knowing that this blessing was theirs from the Lord God who made the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. Proverbs 10:22 - The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it. Are there those who are against you to destroy your soul, who delight to do evil and are trying to get you to walk in the way of darkness? Read Psalm 1 to see what God tells us about this. The Lord says by His wisdom: whoso hearkeneth unto Me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil (Proverbs 1:33). Is your enemy abuse or oppression? Psalm 9:9-10 - The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And they that know Thy name will put their trust in Thee: for Thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek Thee. Psalm 103:6 - The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. Is your enemy an affliction? Remember what God has done for His people in the past and that His promises are true for all who put their trust in Him. Deuteronomy 26:7-8 - and when we cried unto the Lord God of our fathers, the Lord heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression: and the Lord brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders Psalm 77:10-14 - And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High. I will remember the works of the Lord: surely I will remember Thy wonders of old. I will meditate also of all Thy work, and talk of Thy doings. Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God? Thou art the God that doest wonders: Thou hast declared Thy strength among the people. Psalm 34:18-19 - The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. Psalm 119:49-50 - Remember the word unto Thy servant, upon which Thou hast caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction: for Thy word hath quickened me [made me alive]. 1 Corinthians 4:17-18 - For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. Call on the Lord, the Mighty God of Jacob, He will hear you and will deliver you out of His holy hill of Zion. Remember His Word is true, He will never fail to answer those who call on Him with sincerity. Psalm 145:18-19 - The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear Him: He also will hear their cry, and will save them. Praised be the Lord!! Psalm 121:1-2 - I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help, my help cometh from the Lord who made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is therein. Psalm 94:17-19 - Unless the Lord had been my Help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence. When I said, My foot slippeth; Thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. In the multitude of my thoughts within me Thy comforts delight my soul. May these words be a comfort to you and strengthen you as well. May the Lord bless as you as you seek Him. Amen.

  • Ordained Power

Romans 13:1 - Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. When Paul speaks of this, there is the recognition of the fact that, if God had not allowed it to be so, then it would not be in place. In the scriptures of the Old Testament, you will find instances where God permitted both good and evil rulers of nations to be in that position of leadership in order to fulfill a certain purpose. Some examples are: ~ Joseph being one who was sold by his brothers as a slave to Egypt. Later after the Pharaoh appointed Joseph as governor of Egypt, he told his brothers (whom he forgave): Genesis 45:5-8 - Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life. For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest. And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and He hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt. ~ Years later another Pharaoh, who was king of Egypt during the time of Moses when God brought Israel out of Egypt, Of this king, God said: Romans 9:17 - For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. ~ Sennacherib, an Assyrian king, who had been preparing to go up against the city of Jerusalem was reproved by God saying to the king: Isaiah 37:26 - Hast thou not heard long ago, how I have done it; and of ancient times, that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps. ~ Cyrus, a Persian king, was chosen by God to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem as is found in Ezra 1:1-2 - Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying, Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and He hath charged me to build Him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Isaiah 44:24, 28 - Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, and He that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by Myself; That saith of Cyrus, He is My shepherd, and shall perform all My pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid. These were examples of people whom God either placed in positions of power or simply allowed them to be there in order to fulfill His purpose. However, when Paul refers to the higher powers in this chapter, one must look at the scriptures in its context. When we become Christians (Christ followers) we come under God's government, not worldly government. God does not contradict Himself. He would not tell us not to be conformed to the world, to flee from sin in one instance, and in another tell us to obey those who are telling us it is okay to sin, and who make laws commanding people to condone the sin that is committed. God is not contradictory! There is, of course, the understanding that one must obey the basic laws of the land, and not disrespect positions of authority – to a king, one might say Your Majesty, or Mr. President to a president, a judge is addressed as Your Honor and one will stand in their presence because these things show respect for their authority. God is not against human authority, but if a leader of a nation in any capacity is an evil one, then God is angry with the wicked every day (Psalm 7:11), and He will judge them. However, to keep to the point – of what power Paul is speaking in this chapter... Romans chapter 13 verse 2 states: Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. The followers of Christ will not be condemned for rejecting the sin that is being allowed and promoted by these governments For what fellowship hath light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14) Romans 13 Verse 13 continues: For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: The rulers in a government that serve the will of the sinful flesh, is a government that is contrary to the will of God, they will not reprove the unfruitful works of darkness, nor will they be a terror to evil works, but will eventually come against good and those who do good in full force. It is only a matter of time. Be careful what you teach, be careful what you believe. Read the full context of the scriptures and you will see more clearly what God is saying to us through His servant Paul. The rulers of God are those who rule with a Godly leadership. There is a power and authority ordained and led by man, and there is that which is of God, by God and for God alone – through which God alone will be glorified, because that is a nation whose God is the LORD. This power and authority is one that ought to be feared, because the principles, and morals are set in place by One whose standards never change, but have been established forever. Those who follow in this way are not guided by their own fluctuating feelings, but by the ever-stable Rock who is the Lord God Almighty. A nation / group of people whose god is not the LORD, because they serve only themselves, will be made manifest through their actions as well. This power and authority is not to be feared, for they hold no principles, nor morals. Their god is their belly or other fleshly desires. Because they are guided by these feelings and emotions, there is not a standard to follow, due to the instability of their desire. The thoughts and ideas that come into their minds are unbridled, undisciplined, thus permitting them, in their own minds to live in what they consider to be “freedom” - a life without boundaries. Philippians 3:17-19 - Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things. Proverbs 16:25 - There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Anything left undisciplined (as is seen in nature) will become a hindrance if not harmful or destructive to the surrounding area. This truth placed by God in our natural surroundings is also true for man. The discipline of man by God in the ways of God, is not bondage, but freedom. Freedom to be prosperous, to bear fruit and multiply, to replenish the earth! Romans 13:1-5 - Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? Let us pay attention to these words, do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. The sword is the Word of God. This person is a minister of God, meaning he ministers God to the people. This minister also has the authority of God to execute wrath (become angry with Godly zeal for the house of God) with the person who does evil [as Jesus did of whom it was written the zeal of Thine House has eaten Me up - Psalm 69:9, John 2:17]. For this reason you must be under subjection to them, not because they might be angered, but also for the sake of having a clean conscience before God. There are not many ministers today (and I don't know if there are any really) who become truly angered by sin in their congregations. The majority of church leaders are so focused on preaching a “good sermon” that the people would love, or one of encouragement and advice for living, among other topics, that they forget that the reproof of instruction is the way of life (Proverbs 6:23). There are times, like now, when this reproof becomes of absolute necessity in order to yield the peaceable fruit of righteousness (Hebrews 12:11). The message of repentance unto salvation has become lost amid the inspirational speeches and applause. In the process, because the vision and purpose of the cross life is no longer the center of attention, though in a subtle manner, it has become easier to be yielding to the way of the world instead of wielding the Sword of the Word to bring everything (including our thoughts) under submission to Christ. The lack of correct focus has led many astray and continues to do so causing many to be led by a false light. The Lord God tells us it is because of subtly false teaching that many will be led to worship the beast and take its mark. It is through teachers who appear to be on the side of the sheep, that very many will be led astray and souls will be lost. Revelation 13:11-18 - And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Be careful to read the words of the Lord for yourselves. Do not look to signs and wonders alone in order to believe, for Jesus has told us, Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe (John 20:29). Become a true believer and live by faith in God and in His word, not by sight or other senses or feelings. If you are in Christ, and you seek Him with sincerity and with all of your heart, He will lead you into all Truth by His Holy Spirit so you will not be deceived, but discerning. Follow and submit to the government of the Kingdom of God that He may be glorified.

  • Begin to be on Fire for God

Start the fire, light the lamps and the torches, keep them burning until the coming of our LORD. This is a call to duty, brethren in Christ. We do not have the time to be playing around, only to get busy for our LORD and to stay at our posts until our LORD comes. Begin to be on fire for GOD. When the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth? Luke 18:8 Will HE find us patiently abstaining from sin, patiently preaching HIS Word, patiently waiting for HIS return not deviating from it no matter how many people don't want to hear it? no matter who calls you crazy for not going out and living the “good life” to be free to do whatever your heart desires? No matter how many people hate you and call you a hater for telling them the TRUTH of GOD and not what they want to hear? When HE comes, will HE find you walking in faith on the earth? Will HE find you walking in the faith and assurance that your LORD will look on you with favor and will uphold you and sustain you with HIS right hand, that HE will lead you beside still waters, restoring your soul, leading you in the path of RIGHTEOUSNESS for HIS name's sake (whose name is RIGHTEOUS)? Will HE be able to see you faithfully abiding and therefore say when HE comes, “Come up with ME thou good and faithful servant to enter into the JOY of thy LORD”? HE said, Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32 Will you patiently abide in HIM each and every day of your life until the day when our LORD shall return? That is the question? We must decide now. GOD willing this will encourage you to make the right decision. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Revelation 14:12 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. 1 Corinthians 16:13

  • The Time is Now....Wake Up

Originally shared in October 2017, this message is ever more important today as it was then. The LORD GOD is warning the U.S. and even all the countries of the world that HIS coming is close, very close; HE is not playing around. Though many are playing games with HIM, HE will not be toyed with. GOD is VERY serious. The whole earth trembles at HIS presence, and many of HIS own people don't recognize the times in which we are living. The whole world is in turmoil, the earth shakes and trembles, the sea roars and tempests are all over the place – is not this the hand of GOD? HE is trying to wake people up – this is not global warming, this is GOD'S warning! The U.S. will see dangerous days ahead, for their hearts have long since turned against the LORD GOD, therefore, HE has turned HIS face away from them. HE will hear the cry of the humble heart who comes to HIM sincerely, but a proud heart will HE not suffer (HE will not put up with it). So many decisions have been made on the earth to further the agenda of sin, allowing it to permeate each and every part of life. It's a stench in the nose of GOD that is at the very least 100 times worse than that of a skunk, and HE is not in the least bit pleased with it. Now, the people of GOD are faced with a decision: Are they going to silently go along with whatever the people of this world have to say and not 'stir things up'? Or will they begin walking in the full newness of Life, as is required of the children of GOD, thus provoking others to good works as well? What will you do? Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve Him in sincerity and in truth:... And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord (Joshua 24:14a, 15). May GOD grant the grace (power), the Wisdom and patient continuance to remain in HIM till the end of time. GOD bless and may HIS name continually be glorified from this time forth and even forevermore. AMEN

  • Being Priests

Hebrews 5:1-3 For every high priest taken from man is ordained for men in things pertaining to God that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins; Who can have compassion on the ignorant and on them that are out of the way for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity. And by reason hereof he ought as for the people so also for himself to offer for sins. The priest received his ordaining and authority from God Alone, not from men, therefore the empowerment to take care of the duties in this office also came from God. The position was given by God alone and no mere man had the power to tell him otherwise. Hebrews 5:4-5 - And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron. So also Christ glorified not Himself to be made an high priest; but He that said unto Him, Thou art My Son, to day have I begotten Thee. No man has the right to take this honor on himself, one can only be called by God to this position. Christ did not glorify Himself to be a high priest, but God who said to Jesus, You are My Son, today I have begotten You. Now, let's see where we come into the picture: John 1:12-13 - But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Again, by the will of God and by their being born of God, He gave them that believe the Power (meaning- legal or official authority, capacity, or right), to become sons of God. Revelation 1:4-6 - John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from Him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before His throne; and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful Witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Jesus is the prince of the kings of the earth - as He is the Son of God who is King over heaven and earth and all that is in them. If we are of Christ we are made new, born again, sons of the Most High God, and are made joint heirs of the kingdom of God. 2 Corinthians 5:17 - If any man be in Christ he is a new creature... We are become kings and priests to God. Kings, because He made us to govern on earth (see Psalm 8:6), and now being born again through Christ, we are able to take our rightful place and govern as He intended for us to do since the foundation of the earth. Priests, because now through Christ, we have access to the Father as did the priests of old which were ordained by God to live and serve in His house to offer sacrifices to God daily and care for the house of God. We see in Romans 12:1 that we are instructed: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. The service of the priest is to be an example of dedicating one's life wholly, completely to the Lord, to live in holiness to God, consecrated by and for Him. As we see here in Romans 12:2, And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. The priest's job was to take care of the house of the Lord and the altar that there be no wrath any more upon the children of Israel (Numbers 18:5). Their inheritance was the Lord God. They relied on what the Lord had appointed to be their daily bread, their portion of land, and more. (You can read more on this in Numbers chapter 18). The priest was not to be dissuaded by the manner of thinking among the people or opinions of the nations who lived around them, as this would turn their hearts away from serving the Lord. We also who are born of God, are to be transformed to His likeness in word and in deed, to be a living example of what the good, and perfect will of God is for man. Jesus taught as much when He said: Luke 12:24-32 - Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will He clothe you, O ye of little faith? And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. The Lord teaches us that He wants His people to take care of the house of God and His altar when He said seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. The Lord will be our inheritance; as He is our Father and knows every one of our needs, He will supply it. Do not follow in the ways of the nations surround us, but follow in the ways of the Lord our God, and do not doubt Him, and do not be of little faith. All these same things that the same Lord told His people, Israel, when He saved them from captivity and brought them into the land He promised to them, He also instructs and teaches us. 1 Timothy 1:9-10 - [God] who hath saved us, ... called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, but is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel Ephesians 4:1 - I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called. Live as Christ did. The meaning of vocation is: a summons or strong inclination to a particular state or course of action...our occupation to which we are called: to be KINGS AND PRIESTS. It is a calling of humility, being servants of the Lord, yet it is also of the highest honor. Philippians 3:13-15 - Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

  • Itching Ears

The apostle Paul taught Timothy and told him: 2 Timothy 4:1-4 - I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. Our instruction from God: preach the word; be instant in season, out of season (ready at all times - like minutemen); reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. Romans 12:9 - Let love be without dissimulation... Be real, not false (fake), do not have a deceitful love True Love of God is not false or deceitful. Love is truthful and real. Itching ears? Before I came to the study of these scriptures, I had been experiencing a few days that my ears were itching almost constantly. They were clean, and there was no apparent reason for them to be itching. I took it to the Lord, and said, “Lord, I don't know why my ears itch so much, but could You please make it stop?” He put it on my mind to read about itching ears in the scriptures of the Bible. I did and and after receiving this message that I am sharing now, the itchiness went away. God had made His point clear to me and taught me a lesson that I will not soon forget. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 - For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. After their own lusts.... this means that many will raise up teachers who will teach them what they want to hear to appease, not disturb, the lust of their heart. This is very strong, but is the true word from the Lord. Many preachers, teachers, pastors are willing to rise up and teach approving and/or justifying things that are sinful in the sight of God, in order to appease the people, to relieve their itching ears. Unfortunately, this has been taught as though it is the love of God. My friends, it is a lie from Satan. Mark 4:19 - And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. How is it unfruitful? The word of God like any seed has to have soil that it can grow in, receptive soil that allows it to do what it is meant to do. If there are cares of the world and lusts for other things interrupting this process, then it is the same as if weeds got into the garden and are robbing the nutrients from the young plant. This is what causes is to be unfruitful. A weak or malnourished plant cannot be fruitful. 1 Timothy 6:9 - But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. We, as followers of God, must cling to that which is good and not change the doctrine (teaching) of Christ. He said, Go and sin no more (John 8:11). Galatians 5:16-21 - This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. The Spirit of God and the flesh of man are not in agreement. The Spirit of God is strong enough to overcome the works of the flesh. The works of the flesh bring the condemnation of the law of God on a soul, BUT if we live in the Spirit of God, submitting to the will of God, we will be able to overcome the will of the flesh and Only by the Power of God. Lust after evil things will no longer have the strength in us, because God's Holy Spirit will give us new desires and will write His law on our hearts. When we have His law continually before our eyes and we fully recognize who He is, and who we are in Him, we will have a much clearer understanding of the importance of living a holy life. We will find it is not impossible, as so many people have come to believe it is, because we no longer rely on our own strength to overcome the lusts that war in our members. When we learn to trust in God, then we realize, I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength (Philippians 4:13). Those who do this will learn to confess faith which yields obedience to Christ, and not weakness of flesh. Galatians 5:24-25 - And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. We are instructed to: Crucify the flesh - do not mind (do not pay attention or take heed to) the physical desires; instead, take up the cross and follow Christ Allow ourselves to be disciplined (set in order) by the Holy Spirit in order to learn to walk in righteousness Seek holiness – without this, no man will see God (Hebrews 12:14) Today, however, the true dedication to God in body, mind, and soul, has dissipated so much that many (not all) churches are become nothing more than a community, a club where people can meet up, hear things that make them feel good, and not feel an ounce of conviction to serve the Lord with fear and trembling – abstain from evil – flee even the appearance of evil. Someone once said: Evil prevails because good men do nothing. I have to say that sadly this has proven true. Hebrews 1:8-9 - But unto the Son He saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of Thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even Thy God, hath anointed Thee with the oil of gladness above Thy fellows. Jesus' Kingdom is established in righteousness and it has no end. Because He loves righteousness, and hates iniquity, He was anointed with the oil of gladness. Our mouth is filled with laughter and singing, gladness as well when we are guiltless before God (Psalm 32:1-2). Psalm 11:3 - If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? If the foundation, God's righteousness in the people, be destroyed, what can they do, how will they be able to stand in the day of evil? There is a reason for holiness to be among the people of God. 1 Peter 1:13-23 - Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: but as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, who by Him do believe in God, that raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 1 Peter 2:1-3 - Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, as newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: if so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. Desire the sincere milk of the word so that you can grow by it. (Milk is the most easily digested and assimilated food, complete with the nutrients the body needs. In reference to the Word, it is the easiest to learn and understand – the basic elements of the Word of God, which become your foundation). Desire Christ. Begin (if you haven't already) to eat/drink from the sincere milk, so you can gain an understanding of the simple things. Fear God and keep His commandments, this is the whole duty of man. Those who stay in their former lusts can not grow up in Christ and become more powerful in Him, because they remain full of self and not full of Christ. (One can only grow stronger in the thing to which they are devoted). 1 Peter 2:11-12 - Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. Stay away from the lusts, don't invite them into your home, because they will fight against your soul to destroy it (Proverbs 2:10-19). Proverbs 23:23 - Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding. The Truth is Jesus. Give up yourself for Jesus, let Christ teach you wisdom and instruction, and give you understanding because of your devotion to Him. Proverbs 2:1-6 - My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; so that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; if thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:10-13 - When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things; Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness. When we show that we truly want these things, then Lord will give it to those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). Praise be to God who alone does wonderful things, and who redeems our life from destruction. Praised be the Lord!! Revelation 3:6 - He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Jesus said to His disciples, But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear (Matthew 13:16).

  • Strengthen that which remains

"Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die:" - Revelation 3:2 "Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown." - Revelation 3:11 "To him that overcometh: To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of Life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Revelation 2:7 "He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death." Revelation 2:11b "To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it." - Revelation 2:17b "And he that overcometh, and keepeth My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:" - Revelation 2:26 "He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels". - Revelation 3:5 “Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from My God: and I will write upon him My new name.” - Revelation 3:12 “I counsel thee to buy of Me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” - Revelation 3:18-22 “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:” - I Timothy 6:12, 14 Overcome sin, be washed and made clean and abstain from sin which is abomination in the sight of GOD. HE is not asking us to do this alone, everything we need can be found in HIM, if only we ask believing in faith that HE is GOD who supplies every one of our needs according to HIS riches in Glory (James 1:5). IF WE COME TO CHRIST, WE HAVE EVERYTHING. Blessed is he that overcomes sin and keeps his garment unstained, unspotted from the world. Blessed is he who overcomes for he will obtain all things promised to him as is stated in these scriptures from the Word of GOD. Blessed are all they who put their trust in the LORD GOD Almighty. Blessed is he who hope is in GOD. They will not be ashamed who put their trust in HIM. To GOD be the Glory, great things HE hath done; so loved HE the world that HE gave us to provide us the Way of Salvation and the Hope of eternal Life. May GOD be praised and HIS name glorified forever and ever. AMEN May GOD bless you all.

  • Pilgrims

We are pilgrims in this world: only travelers on our way to our eternal home. Genesis 47:9 - And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are an hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage. We, who are in Christ, are now no longer aliens or strangers of Christ, but aliens and strangers to the world. Ephesians 2:12, 19 - That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: Verse 19 - Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; We who serve Christ look forward to a place not of this world, and we continue on in faith until the end. Hebrews 11:13 - These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. We also must do this in order to obtain the promise. We must no longer hold onto the things of this world as though they are what really matter, but we must hold onto that which is of Christ at all times because it is for our very life. “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature” (2 Corinthians 5:17) if that is true, then this also must be true for us and we must hold on to the treasure of the word of our Lord as the most valuable treasure we own. Psalm 119:54 - Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage. 1 Chronicles 29:14-15 - But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee. For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding. Peter instructs us: 2 Peter 2:11-12 - Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. Anybody who has begun to walk with Christ, will know that this new life is not anything like the one they lived before. It is not a life in which one can choose to do that which is right in their own eyes – this would be living falsely (or living a lie). Be honest, if you say you are of Christ, then live the way Christ has called us to live. The desire of the LORD is this, as the apostle John said in 3rd John chapter 1 verse 4, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” May God bless you all as we learn what it is to worship the LORD in Spirit and in Truth. Amen and amen.
