From Death to Life!
Ephesians 1:1-2 And you hath He quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
The course of this world goes according to the prince of the power of the air, and goes against the will of God as it says in John 14:30-31-
May those who love the Father do what Christ did... and as the Father commanded Me, so I do. Arise, let us go from here.
It is just like the Lord said to Jeremiah: (Jeremiah 23:28-29)
We will follow the Father.
Luke 3:16-17 -
We find in John 3:16-18 -
What we see in these verses: Those who believe and those who do not believe - The wheat and the chaff - Those who are saved and those who are condemned - Those who are obedient and those who are disobedient - children of God's love and children of wrath.
Who are we? And what spirit are we allowing to work in us today?
We have to choose whom we will serve.
Ephesians 2:3 -
Before, we lived as disobedient children, children destined for the day of God's wrath, but now, because God loved us, He provided a way to escape condemnation.
Ephesians 2:5-6 -
It is the same as it says in Psalm 113:5-8
Before, in sin, we were dead, we were in the dust, we were needy
Now, because of what God did for us and together with our belief in Him, we are resurrected from the dead, seated with the princes of His people, and in the heavenly places with Christ Jesus. Now, we cannot be practicing sin because what keeps us alive is obeying God / living IN Christ. We have to recognize who we are in order to walk in agreement with Him.
Princes of a country represent their country wherever they go. If the Lord made us sit with the princes of His people, it is so that we can be His witnesses – to represent and present Him in every place.
That is why Jesus said, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life,
He is the door through which we enter Heaven.
If God made us sit in heavenly places, it is so that we can see things and situations from a higher perspective than we had before. Before, we were in the dust and now we can sit with Christ in heavenly places – how much higher do we want to be? We have access to the best perspective there is. People travel to the mountains to get that very high vantage point. We see this in the Psalms. David and others prayed with this same understanding.
I encourage you from Psalm 93 where it says, Lord,
the waves of the sea are very strong and they are rising up over me.
You are more powerful than the waves of the sea!
The times you feel overwhelmed with the multitude of voices
clamoring for attention in the world, hit with one situation after another and even death. Here and there and there are fears all around – The Lord is more powerful than these waves of the sea.
God resurrected us and made you sit in heavenly places to . . .
Christ told us that it pleased our Father to give us the kingdom (Luke 12:32).
We are saved and are God's workmanship created in Christ for good works - which God prepared beforehand for us to walk in.
We have to decide to walk in it.
We cannot let sin reign in us, because a little leaven in the dough leavens the whole dough. If we allow a little sin to sit and live in our life, it will contaminate other parts of our life as well.
Remember where you came from and who you now are in Christ - We are the living
Remember that we are among princes to be witnesses of God that HE IS the one who saves, He IS the Way, the Truth,
Remember that our duty is to walk in the Path of righteousness prepared by God.
May the name of our Heavenly Father be glorified not only by our words,
but by our works as well!
Amen!!
Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do.
What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.
Is not My word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
Whose fan is in His hand, and He will throughly purge His floor, and will gather the wheat into His garner; but the chaff He will burn with fire unquenchable.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but He that believeth not is condemned already, because He hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Who humbleth Himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
That He may set him with princes, even with the princes of His people.
Isaiah 43:10-11
Ye are My witnesses, saith the LORD, and My servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He: . . .
I, even I, am the LORD; and beside Me there is no saviour.
no one comes to the Father, except through Me.
John 14:6

Ephesians 2:7-10
That in the ages to come He might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Romans 6:12-18 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
